Mustard Seed Garden Eagle Scout Project – Raised Bed Replacements

Our amazing Boy Scout Troop 212 once again has generously and tirelessly donated hours of precious weekend time to bettering our campus!  They removed two rotting 4’ X 16’ wooden garden beds, temporarily transferred some of the soil, and replaced the wooden beds with four 4’ x 8’ durable galvanize steel garden beds and refilled them with soil.   (Three of the new garden beds were generously donated by our master gardener, Ardell Oneal.)Thinking of a way to further enhance our garden, they also erected a tarp for shade over our repotting area!  They then shored up our remaining wooden beds by replacing deteriorating posts, fencing and screws.  The gardeners are delighted and we are all so thankful! Thank you, Ethan Lian, the Eagle Scout candidate, his family, and Troop 212 for organizing this, and for all you have done!
