Coalition of Community Gardens is proud to present our 7th Grow Gardens Conference: “Growing Together: Resilient Gardens, Healthy Futures”

This year’s event will feature:

Community & Networking

  • Connect with community garden leaders, urban farmers, and sustainability advocates.
  • Build relationships with experts and organizations dedicated to food equity and resilient gardening.

Engaging Speakers & Inspiring Stories

  • Hear from Cara Serra, Director of Resiliency at Tampa Bay Regional Planning Council, along with a Regional Panel featuring representatives from Hillsborough, Pinellas, Manatee, and Pasco.
  • Learn about community garden success stories like Apollo Beach Community Garden and West Tampa Grows Healthy.

Hands-On Learning & Breakout Sessions

  • Participate in interactive workshops on gardening techniques, sustainability, and community food systems.
  • Customize your experience with sessions tailored to participant interests during registration.

Unique Venue & Hands-On Activities

  • Experience the Eckerd College Community Farm, an inspiring urban farm setting.
  • Take part in hands-on activities to apply new gardening knowledge in a real-world setting.

Farm-to-Table Lunch & Happy Hour

  • Enjoy a fresh, locally sourced lunch included with registration.
  • End the day with a garden happy hour featuring live music from Dave Himmelfarb’s band, Kudu.
