Coalition of Community Gardens is proud to present our 7th Grow Gardens Conference: "Growing Together: Resilient Gardens, Healthy Futures"
This year's event will feature:
- Two heartwarming Garden Stories from Apollo Beach Community Garden, who got hit hard with Helene and Milton, and our newest Community Garden, West Tampa Grows Healthy
- Breakout sessions with a variety of garden topics based on your votes!
- Director of Resiliency at Tampa Bay Regional Planning Council, Cara Serra, along with a Regional Panel featuring representatives from Hillsborough, Pinellas, Manatee, and Pasco to discuss Goal #8 of Regional Plan: Food systems become more resilient and access to healthy foods is improved
- A Farm Fresh Lunch
- A hands-on afternoon in the garden
- Happy Hour in the garden with Live Music from Dave Himmelfarb's band Kudu!
