From Lawns to Farms

Learn ideas to convert lawns to edible landscapes from Orlando, FL’s popular Fleet Farming program. Each participant will receive a free vegetable or herb plant for their edible landscape!

Fleet Farming is an urban agriculture program of IDEAS For Us that is changing the cycle of local food systems through community supported agriculture. Their mission is to empower all generations to grow food in order to increase local food accessibility.

Registration:

This is a free class. TFHC will provide the materials, but registration is required.

Space is limited to 40 participants.

Event Location:

The class begins at 9:30 AM. We will meet in the employee breakroom at the Osborne center. 4620 N. 22nd St. Tampa FL 33611. You will receive an email with location details prior to the event. We have a water cooler, but we don’t have cups, so please bring a beverage or your refillable water bottle.
