This training, developed by UF IFAS Extension Hillsborough County in conjunction with the City of Tampa as part of the USDA grant, will train people to support members of the community as they learn to grow their own groceries! Additionally, it provides step by step instruction on how to start and maintain a community garden.
This curriculum is available for everyone to take, no matter your gardening skill level, and will consist of computer training along with hands on time in the garden. COCG wants to certify as many people as possible so please consider investing in yourself, and sharing in the joy, community, and health that gardening brings.
